See if I have blogspot figured out

WoooHooo! I've had this blog account since 2008, and at the end of 2009 I decided to post something! For everyone who knows me, I use to blog on myspace. Since facebook hit the scene, I don't get on myspace much anymore...and when I try, the darn thing has so many issues loading. For anyone who doesn't know all about me, I'm the proud mother of 2 boys. Dennis III will be 7 years old in January, and my baby Slayton-Isaac is 2.8 years old. Boy, the last 7 years have flown by! I never thought almost 7 years ago when Dennis was born (and **wink wink Heather C.** I got that sorry sandwich) I would one day have a big 1st grade boy. My husband, Dennis says D is just like me. I guess the world should watch out...2 Lauras, that's kinda scary!!! And of course, little Isaac is following right in his brothers foot steps, with doing and saying all sorts of crazy things. But...that is what makes my blogs so random and crazy.

I guess my first blog on here will be a bit boring, you would think since I haven't blogged anything since August I would have something to say. I've been trying to get ready for Christmas. I had to buy another tree, because the legs on mine were broke...and I used fishing wire to hold it up last year. So it was ready for the trash. I hated to spend money buying one this year, my grandmother said I could have her's...and its big and pretty, but my car was messed up and I didn't have a way to go get it. So...what did I do? Bought a 20 dollar one from Dollar store. OMG, let me tell you...Its a Charlie Brown tree. The box said it was 6 ft...but unless I am 6ft tall, its not 6ft tall. The branches keep falling out...poor tree. But, we put lights on it yesterday, it looks a bit better. Thankfully! A friend told me to exchange it, but I don't want to take it back down and have to put another one up. Hey, its a tree...and its up! It will do for one year. All I need to do now, is wrap the stuff that is hid in my trunk...but I keep having visions of Isaac un wrapping them. I know I'm going to have to wrap them, maybe putting something under this Charlie Brown tree will help it look better. But I really don't want to have to keep wrapping the same things over and over. Dennis said D never unwrapped gifts. Boy, sad that his memory can't remember just 4 Christmas' ago! D never fully unwrapped them, but I'll just say...everyone's gift had lots of extra tape on the corners. I guess we'll just have to wait and see!
